Summary

We will host online and in person songwriting camps.  IMPF and selected publisher members, along with our A&R Producer for the online camps, will launch the calls for participation. The online camps will open up the experience to more writers and composers, without the need for travel – a great capacity building experience for first-timers who have not yet had the benefit, as composers, to experience songwriting camps.

Objectives

• This initiative will also offer networking opportunities for participants to connect with music publishers, industry professionals, and fellow songwriters encouraging potential collaborations, publishing deals, and career advancement within the music industry
• to foster creativity, collaboration, as well as innovation in music creation
• network, learn from industry experts, and create high-quality music content
• fostering knowledge exchange and skill development between songwriters and music publishers

Open Calls

Annoucement on open calls were sent to IMPF members in March 2025 for Online Songcamps and the Palma Songwriting camp in October.

An open call for an Online Songcamp taking place 24/25 June 2025 was sent out to members on May 9th with a deadline to apply by 30 May.  See details here.

For two of the four planned song camps in Palma, we will work together with ECSA.  

Beneficiaries

These initiatives offer networking opportunities for songwriters, composers, top-liners, producers to connect with music publishers, industry professionals, and fellow artists encouraging collaborations, publishing deals, and career advancement within the music industry.  The camps foster creativity, collaboration, as well as innovation in music creation.
