Summary

Music publish members will run the yearly events namely the IMPF Global Music Summit in Palma and other activities such as hub meetings. The main objective of the events is networking, B2B, knowledge sharing, creator promotion.  The events are subject to open calls with inclusion and gender balance an objective for all events.  All relevant activities for 2025 will be recorded on this webpage.

Objectives

  • The main objective of the Networking work package is networking and knowledge sharing
  • Specific objective: production and realisation of a yearly IMPF conference, the IMPF Palma Music Summit and the Annual Publishers’ Networking Meetings (General Assembly)
  • The IMPF Palma Music Summit serves the purpose of networking, sharing best practices, as well as fostering new talent
  • The organisation of the IMPF Palma Music Summit will be subject to Open Calls going out to the entire IMPF membership, with applications received for each year’s event
  • Participant inclusion and gender balance is also an objective for all events

Calls

An Open call sent to IMPF members in March 2025 invited interested parties to become involved in the General Assemblies and Conference in Athens, April 2025 and the IMPF Global Music Summit, in Palma, October 2025.

Activity

Athens General Assembly and Conference 03 -04 April 2025

The event which took place over 2 days in Athens was a great success.  IMPF were delighted to officially launch the IMPF Network 2.0 Project and to announce the publication of the IMPF Global Market View Independent Music Publishing Report (5th edition).  Read the summary report here.
