Bigpop Music Publishing is an Aotearoa/New Zealand based boutique music publisher. It’s a division of the Bigpop Music group – which also encompasses recording facilities (audio post production, music creation and composition), record label services (with imprints Bigpop Records, Particle Recordings, Black Lotus Music and (un)Reliable) and provision of music distribution/PR services.
Initially an extension of the creative endeavours of founders Joost Langeveld and Chris van de Geer, Bigpop has grown dramatically and now employs 12 full time staff at its Tāmaki Makaurau/Auckland located facilities. BPMP represents the rights and interests of some of Aotearoa’s leading songwriters/producers/artists, frequently hosts writer development, mentoring and industry focussed workshops and events – and actively works with writers and producers on myriad bespoke music projects.
Working alongside artists, composers, writers and producers BPMP aims to nurture artistic integrity and facilitate new opportunities for the music they create.
